How to export from ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT → click your profile (bottom-left) → Settings.
  2. 2Go to Data controls → Export data → Export.
  3. 3Confirm. OpenAI emails you a download link (usually minutes, sometimes longer).
  4. 4Download the .zip from that email — the link expires after 24 hours.
